Description

This rare silver and dual colour guilloche enamel pill box was made by Levi & Salaman and is dated Birmingham 1909. Of circular form, the delicately engraved guilloche enamel lid a vibrant turquoise colour surrounded by an elegant silver rimmed white border. Plain silver sides and base. Gilt inner lid and interior.
Hallmarks:
L&S for Levi & Salaman.
Birmingham Assay mark.
date letter "K" for 1909.
Lion Passant.
Dimensions:
Diameter: 3.5cm - 1.2 inches.
Height: 2cm - 0.6 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
Enamel in excellent condition.
Minor dings to the silver base.
Good set of marks.
Gilt interior still bright and rich.
