Description

Super hazel wood and hallmarked silver country walking stick or cane.
Sturdy and perfect for every day use with a red deer antler handle.
The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1891
and makers mark for Jonathan Howell of Old Street London.
Lovely decoration to the silver collar, with a blank cartouche to the front.
The shaft is Hazel with the bark still on which adds super colour and texture. Strong enough to support a good weight.
It measures 91 .5cm 36 inches in length, the handle is 12 cm 4 3/4 inches wide.
The ferrule is made of brass and steel.
It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and
use as you'd expect at this age.
Some minor surface marks to the silver as shown.
