Description

A beautiful decent sized solid silver Indian box. It is hallmarked 90 and tests as sterling silver. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully hand made and unusually embossed and chased with various insects. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside is clean. It measures approx. 6.75 inches (17cm) long by 2 inches (4.6cm) wide by 1.5 inches (3.6cms) tall and weighs 189 grams. A superbly designed beautiful and unusual example.
