Description

A most unusual Edwardian silver hatpin stand of all silver construction. This superior example has a fluted and weighted base, decorated with applied, cast ivy leaf details. The wire-work frame is of trefoil form with a matching ball and leaf finial. Hatpin stands are always rather collectable and this is a lovely and practical piece. The hatpin is not included and shown to demonstrate use. Dimensions below.

Hallmarks :- Softening but readable. Loss to the Maker's mark.
