Description

A good quality Victorian rosewood jewellery box, the top with central vacant mother of pearl oval cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.
The box opens to reveal the original mahogany interior, re-lined in a plush pink velvet. The lift-out tray reveals further storage beneath. To the right a brass pin releases the spring loaded side drawer which has also been re-lined.
With working lock & tasselled key.
The box has been cleaned and professionally French polished and is in showroom condition. There are two small dings to the left hand edge of the top.
