Description

An excellent collection of 45 different original hand drawn cartoons by artist Bill Tait. They were all created during WW2 and are about the war. Most have publishing dates for the Glasgow Evening Herald on the reverse. This collection illustrates a fascinated look into wartime at home, and probably helped keep the spirits up of the British people with a little humour. Mostly drawn on thick card but some are on paper.
