Description

This exquisite solid silver purse was made in Birmingham 1918 by George Edwin Walton. Of conventional form, both sides engraved with rinbbon-tied floral garlands. The clasp opens to reveal the original teal moire silk interior. The interior divided in four compartments. The sides fitted with a chain and suspension ring to allow a lady to hold her purse while holding her cocktail glass.

Lion Passant.
Date letter "t" for 1918.
