Description

A superb quality brass desk stand dating from the early 20th Century. It has two glass inkwells which sit on an ornate brass stand with Art Nouveau stylised decoration of flowing lines and leaves. The hinged tops of the inkwells have a matching art nouveau floral design. It is raised on four small bun feet and is stamped on the underside "GESCHUTZT".
It is in very good condition for its age and the brass has been beautifully cleaned and polished. There are some signs of age and use, some minor dinks and light surface marks but nothing detrimental or untoward and no damage to the inkwells.
