Description

Ebony and hallmarked solid silver walking stick or cane with a fabulous amethyst sphere pommel.
The colour and pattern in the pommel is exceptional as you can see in the pictures.
The shaft is well sized in width and length so will support a good weight.
The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1926 and makers mark for Nathaniel and Charles Feldman trading as Feldman Brothers.
Octagon trumpet shaped silver collar that the pommel sits into with engine turned decoration.
It measures 92.4 cm 36 3/8 inches in length, the pommel is 4.9 cm 1 15/16 inches wide.
The ferrule is made of brass and steel.
It's in excellent condition with only minor signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age.
A couple of rough patches on the stone where it's been polished and revealed the crystalline nature of the stone but no chips or cracks.
Some surface marks to the silver as shown but no holes or splits.
The shaft is excellent with no breaks or repairs.
