Description

This small and delightful desk magnifying glass bears teh marks of Horton & Allday and is dated Birmingham 1926. It has a decorative silver mounted turquoise guilloche enamel handle to the front, the back plain. Mounted with a 5cm diameter steel mount inset with magnifying glass.
Hallmarks:
H&A for Horton & Allday.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "B" for 1926.
Condition:
Very good.
Handle in excellent condition.
Glass with no surface scratching.
No loss to the enamel.
Hallamakrs partially rubbed but identifiable.
