Description

A striking antique oak gateleg drop-leaf table, likely late Victorian to Edwardian (circa 1900), in the Jacobean revival style. Featuring a beautifully carved scalloped border with fan motifs and turned legs joined by stretchers. The rich dark finish highlights the characterful grain of the oak.
Condition:
Solid and structurally sound. Characterful slight warping to the flaps—purely aesthetic and doesn’t affect use. Some wear, scratches, and small losses to the carved edging consistent with age (see photos).
