Description

A charming small antique George III mahogany tripod wine table dating from circa 1800. With circular solid mahogany lipped top with raised and moulded edge supported by a crisply turned central column supported by shaped tripod legs with pad feet. A good example of a classic George III mahogany tripod wine table with good colour and patina.

Construction/Wood:
Mahogany

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy, good colour and patina, with scuffs and marks commensurate with age. Top has got ring marks, some scuffs and a few well-executed old mends to the lip. The vertical section between the top and the base has been replaced at some point, but I don’t think this is a marriage as the top appears original to the base.

Dimensions:
Height: 72cm
Top Width: 47cm
Top Depth: 47cm
