Description

A charming French gilt wood fauteuil armchair in Louis XV style, upholstered in lemon silk fabric dating from circa 1920s. With channelled frame, the cartouche shaped back surmounted by a carved crested top rail, with scrolled arms, above a shaped serpentine and floral carved seat frame, on cabriole legs. Of good proportions, not too big, ideal as a bedroom or feature chair.

Solid and sturdy. Various marks and wear commensurate with age. A few marks to the fabric.
