Description

Victorian Pig Vesta in good original antique condition in brass . Go-to-bed or getting-into-bed matchboxes were very popular during the Victorian era. The lit match on the mantelpiece or bed side table would burn for 30 seconds — just long enough for the person to get into bed. This is a great example with a lovely aged patina.
