Description

Bell Shaped Sterling Silver Inkwell BUT without liner
Engraved to commemorate Golden Jubilee of the WPBS - Westbourne Park Building Society 1885 - 1935
Made by Joseph Gloster and marked for Birmingham 1935
The marks are badly rubbed but I have also shown marks from an identical inkwell to show what they would have looked like if not so rubbed You will see they included the 1935 Jubilee mark.
In the pix you should see it has slight damage on 1 side of the base otherwise there are only light usage marks.
It weighs 271 gm, is 82mm in diameter at the base and approx 95mm in height.
It is also marked inside the lid and unusually in the well
