Description

An unusual pair of silver handled seam scissors, dating from the Georgian Regency period. These exquisite examples have floral repousse decoration to the handles and polished steel blades. The scissors retain the original silver sheath and would have been an essential part of the Georgian lady's sewing set. Unmarked (bot unusual for small Georgian silver items), tests as silver. Dimensions below.
