Description

A matching pair of superb quality Victorian solid silver fruit dessert servers with carved mother of pearl handles in mint unused condition, hallmarked Sheffield 1899. The solid silver knife blade and fork end, each with floral engraving and matching engraving to the handle mounts. The knife with sharp and serrated blades for cutting fruit or cakes. The mother of pearl handles with decorative carved decoration to the ends of each to aid grip. Both pieces bearing the makers mark for Sheffield silversmiths Levesley Bros along with clear hallmarks. Sat in the original leather cloth case with velvet and silk lined interior. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Knife measures 9.25" long x 1" wide, fork measures 6.75" long x 0.75" wide.
