Locke & Co. Worcester Blush Porcelain Candlestick, c.1910
An 20th-century porcelain candlestick by Locke & Co., Worcester, England. This elegant piece is finished in the classic blush ivory style, graduating from soft cream to warm peach tones and enriched with hand-applied gilding to the rim and detailing.
Of tapering form with fluted top and a shaped square base, the candlestick displays the distinctive Locke & Co. aesthetic. Marked to the underside with the black globe factory stamp used circa 1895–1914.
Measurements:
Approx. 9 cm high × 8 cm wide at the base
Condition:
Very good condition overall with no chips, cracks or repairs. Minor wear to the gilding, commensurate with age.
