Description
A 19th century ash and elm low back windsor chair with crinoline stretcher and an unusually shaped and pierced central back splat. This is a lovely and comfortable chair with good colour and patina, but it has suffered a few areas of damage and repair over the years, so please read the condition report below. Condition: The chair is good and solid with minimal movement in the joints. The central splat has suffered a few breaks and has been repaired. The crinoline stretcher has been damaged at some point and a metal plate has been attached to the underside to strengthen it. There is a small area of loss to a turned area on the front left leg. All these areas are shown in the photos and are reflected in the price. Mainland UK delivery (excluding the Scottish highlands) is included in the price - if you would like a quote for delivery elsewhere, or if you would like to collect the item yourself, please get in touch.
