Early Victorian Brass Mortice Lock c.1850
A good early Victorian mortice lock with engraved brass casing and steel backplate. Cross-hatched and foliate decoration to the brass face. English, circa 1830–1850.
Measures 11.5 cm wide x 9 cm high x 3.5 cm deep.
Good overall condition. Wear and surface marks consistent with age. Old crack to brass casing. No key present.
