Description
A wonderful and collectable piece of George V silverware. This useful book mark is of good size and features the rather unusual terminal of the Isle of Man emblem. The Isle of Man emblem is a triskelion of three armoured legs, conjoined at the thigh, and spurred. This emblem, often referred to as the "Three Legs of Mann" is featured on the Isle of Man flag, coat of arms, currency, and stamps. The triskelion has been associated with the Isle of Man since the 13th century and is often interpreted as representing the island's three historical divisions or as symbols of strength and movement.
