Sitzendorf Porcelain Cherub Vase c.1920
A finely modelled early 20th-century Sitzendorf porcelain vase. The piece features a charming winged cherub figure gathering flowers with a sickle, set before a swirling tree trunk-style vase, richly decorated with applied forget-me-nots and scrolling foliage. Glazed in white with hand-painted enamel detail to the flowers and leaves.
Height: 20 cm
Condition:
Good decorative condition. Minor losses to some applied flowers. An old, neat repair to one wing, visible on close inspection. Age-related wear to the underside.
Marks:
Faint Sitzendorf underglaze blue mark and impressed model number ‘211’ to the base.
