Description

An Antique Italian Grand Tour Burnished Terracotta Roman Style Askos Jug, 19th Century c.1820-50. Modelled With A Lion Handle, Classical Dolphins To The Spout, Dancing Figures To The Body Above A Band Of Skulls And Swags.
Overall 21cm high.
Nicely modelled and in overall good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Some light marks as expected with age however this does not detract. Old surface dirt residue, light wear to the burnished surface at the high points.
