Description

An attractive and finely painted Antique Meiji period Japanese satsuma pottery deep plate decorated in the thousand flowers design. The plate with shaped border and signed to the base.
Diameter 25cm, height approximately 4cm.
The plate in overall good condition, the glaze is crazed as is typical with this type of pottery noticeable only on the underside of the plate this does not detract. Some light surface wear to the painted decoration as expected with age and use. A very attractive plate which displays well.
