Description

A Victorian bronze cased marine barometer with engraved silvered scale and engine turned bezel, fully serviced and working c.1885. The dished polished bronze case with hanging loop to the top and decorative engine turned finish to the bezel. Aneroid movement sat behind an engraved silvered scale with weather predictions sat around the outer edge. Glazed view window sat over the top with central reading marker. Presented in immaculate in superb condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Measures 4.75" diameter x 6" high including hanging loop x 2" deep.
