Description

An exceptional vintage python skin, tan leather and tan suede clutch bag with handle c1930. The outside and handle are made of a python skin with its striking scaly surface in tones of cream, tan and brown. The handle is united in the centre with a white metal buckle for strength. Inside are three large compartments lined in tan suede, with brown leather edging. One compartment has two extra pockets and another has a built in purse with leather lined flap and stud. A fourth compartment at the front is slimline, suitable for paper or similar. The flaps close with stud fastenings. The whole bag is in exceptionally good order - no tears or breaks in the leather or python skin. The handle also is in very good condition, with almost no signs of wear, just age. It dates to the fashionable 1930s.
