Description

For sale is this scenic hand coloured stone lithograph published by Louis Haghe after the watercolour sketches by David Roberts during his trips to Egypt and the Middle East in 1838 and 1839. It is signed in the stone lower right by the lithographer and titled lower right. The print is titled, "The Temple at Wady Kardassy, Nubia" and was published in the late 19th century. The image measures about 10 by 13 1/2 inches. The frame measures about 18 x 21 1/2 inches. Overall fairly good condition with some minor foxing and browning to the paper as well as some scratching to the wood frame (please refer to photos). Feel free to ask questions, I usually get back to you quickly. There will be no charge for shipping within the U.K. and I will be shipping the lithograph with its glass.
