Description

For sale is this antique Chinese or Japanese elm wood pillow or headrest. It is hand carved with no nails or metal parts. I would estimate it was made in the late 18th or early 19th century, but it's hard to be sure. It has a collection label on the underside which reads "Pierre Loos. FC98IFH". The wooden rest measures about 29 centimeters in length by 12 centimeters high at the highest point. It weighs about 468 grams. Condition is good with overall scratching and wear from use over time.
