Description

A superior quality Edwardian period solid silver photo frame with oval picture window and cast floral swags, hallmarked Birmingham 1907. The polished silver front with oval photograph window and embossed flower bud border to the outer edge, plus matching cast silver swags applied to the top of the frame. The silver face returning around the sides to meet the original blue velvet back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Henry Matthews along with clear hallmarks. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine, the velvet back with some age related ware to the pile of the fabric. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Takes photograph 3.5" x 5". Measures overall 4.5" wide x 7.25" high.
