Description

A gorgeous pair of early Victorian silver mounted condiment bottles, probably for oil and vinigar. The baluster shaped bodies are facet cut, in lovely geometric patterns and have polished pontil marks to the bases. The silver collars are hallmarked, have a pouring lip and scroll handle. The bottles retain thier original steeple stoppers and are facet and notch cut. A super duo, suitbale for practical use as well as being lovely display items. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the silver and no chips or cracks to the glass bodies. One stopper has a bruise to the tip, commensurate with age and use.
Hallmarks :- Clear and readable to one. Rubbed marks to the other. Partial loss to the Maker's mark..
