Subject: This original engraved title page is from Wallhausen’s Art Militaire à Cheval, one of the earliest systematic treatises on European cavalry warfare. The engraving features elaborate borders with mounted knights, cavalry manoeuvres, and ornate martial decoration surrounding the French title text.

Condition Report: This early 17th-century engraving is in good condition for its age, with general toning and edge wear consistent with 380+ years of age.
