Description

This quality antique Albertina chain features four strands of chain modelled in silver. The bracelet features a decorative twisted T-bar, a engraved slider and a desirable tassel drop. The Albertina is fastened securely with a sturdy dog clip.
An Albertina chain is the name given to a watch chain worn by women. These chains, along with Albert chains, were popular during the Victorian era. The Albertina chains were generally finer than the Albert chains and often were multi-stranded, with charms and fobs.
This chain would make the perfect bracelet, measuring 8.5" in wearable length, depending on where you have the fastener.
