Description

An exquisite Art Deco Sterling silver compact of higher grade 935 Silver. This superb example is of circular form with an engine turned base and a pattern to the sides. The lid is hinged and decorated with superb guilloche enamel in pale sky blue.
The hinged lid opens via a thumb grip, to reveal a fitted mirror. Austrian in origin, this is a wonderful collector's piece and a great gift idea. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits or losses. The base has a small bump to the back, shown in photo. The enamel has no losses or chips, just light surface scuffing commensurate with age and use..
Hallmarks :- Marked Sterling Silver with maker's mark, 935. Made in Austria.
Date :- c1920.
Maker :- Auhrendt & Kautzman.
