Description

A delightful George III period oak box / chest.
The box is of lovely proportions and has fantastic colour. The box has chamfered edges, bracket feet, brass escutcheon and historically replaced hinges; the small holes from the original iron loop hinges remain present. The lid needs a little wiggle when closing to align and fully close but otherwise the box remains in a very good condition throughout.
