Description

An imposing and eye catching example of Victorian tea-table ware. This is a large cut glass celery vase, with a flared and petal shaped rim. The body is cut with vertical flute cut lines, tapering to give a leaf effect. The stem has a teardrop blown through and is extensively cut with facets and panels and the foot is finished with a cut multi point star. Celery vases are making quite a comeback as antique tableware continues in it's popularity. These particular items lend themselves to the modern table for alternative uses, such as flowers etc. and are attractive and practical gift ideas. Dimensions below.
