Description

Victorian Brass Oil Lamp with Pink Glass Font, c.1880
A decorative late Victorian brass oil lamp with a moulded pink glass font. The pressed glass is richly shaped with petal-like lobes and textured detailing, adding both colour and interest to the lamp.
Fitted with a twin-wick duplex burner, stamped “Made in England,” with twin thumbwheels. Raised on a brass column and stepped circular base of neoclassical inspiration, the lamp has good presence and stands well.

Condition: The lamp presents well, with surface wear and small marks consistent with age and use. Burner complete but untested.
