Description

Set of Three Graduated Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Jugs, c.1900
A matching set of three Doulton Lambeth salt-glazed stoneware jugs, dating to around 1900. Each jug with a treacle-brown glazed upper section and buff stoneware lower body, decorated in relief with tavern and hunting scenes, trees, hounds, cottages and windmills. Strap handles, the largest with decorative foliate moulding at the mount.
Impressed factory marks to the bases: Doulton Lambeth England, together with model numbers.
Heights approximately 19 cm, 11 cm and 7 cm
Condition:
The largest jug with a chip and old repair to the rim; minor surface wear and small firing imperfections to all, consistent with age.
