Description

A fine example of a Georgian Sterling Silver sugar sifter spoon. It has a distinctive shaped bowl with pretty pierced pattern. The handle has bright cut engraved decoration and a vacant cartouche at the tip of the handle.
The sifter is good quality and weighs approximately 27g. It measures approximately 5 1/4" (13.5cm) long and the bowl is 1 3/4" (4.5cm) wide.
It is clearly hallmarked for Dublin, 1821.
It is in good condition with a clear hallmark. There are no damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
