Description

For sale is this lovely early 20th century watercolour on paper of an English garden in the summertime. It is signed, lower left, Frances Drummond, and is framed with a period oak frame. I would estimate it was painted between 1915 and 1925. The frame measures about 13 1/2 x 15 inches and weighs a total of 1,539 grams including the glass which I will be shipping with the painting. Condition is good with strong bright colours. There are couple of ink flecks on the garden path. The painting is slightly smaller than the frame. Minor wear and tear only to the frame.
