Description

A rectangular silver photo frame dating from the end of the Victorian era. This wonderful example is of easel form with a faux leather back and support. The silver is front is most unusual and if crafted in wire-work featuring interlinking spirals. To the top is a vacant cartouche and the interior is original silk moire, with the retailers mark in tooled gold. A superb and special piece, with a practical use for a portrait or couple. Condition :- Excellent with no splits, losses or holes. The ribbon beneath the easel support has been replaced at some point.
