Description

For sale is a lovely watercolour painting on paper by the French artist Charles Wissant (1783-1856). From the style, I would estimate this was painted some time between 1810 and 1830. Wissant was a Strasbourg artist know for his watercolours and landscapes. He was also an engraver. The painting is signed lower left and framed in an 18th century gilt frame which measures about 26 by 28 centimeters. The total weight of the painting is 1046 grams. The painting is in good condition with no rips or tears and strong colours. Some loss and wear only to the gilt wood frame. Please note I will be shipping it with its glass. Shipping will be free within the UK. Feel free to ask questions: I usually get back to you quickly.
QUESTIONS: All enquiries by either phone or email are very welcome & will be attended to promptly.

VIEWING: Can be arranged by appointment.

PAYMENT: Bank transfer, credit/debit card, payment over the 'phone or cash.

DELIVERY: In general, shipping within the UK will be free. Most overseas postal destinations can be arranged, and I can quote individually for packing and shipping.
