Description

A large and attractive silver menu or card holder, in the Art Nouveau taste. The frame has a 'lyre' shaped body and sits on a weighted base for stability. The size suggest that this would have been to hold a table menu, rather than a place or name card. An alternative use for this charming piece would be to hold a photograph. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good, with no splits or holes. There is a small area of 'flattening' to the reverse of the base rim, commensurate with age and use.
Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.
Date :- Birmingham 1910.

Base diameter :- 6.7 cms.
