Description

A lovely late Victorian walnut spoon-back nursing or occasional chair with elegant cabriole front legs on original ceramic castors. Upholstered in a later period Draylon fabric with deep button-back detail and decorative braid trim. A timeless antique piece that works beautifully as a bedroom, dressing room, or fireside chair.
Condition Report
Good solid condition overall. The fabric is a little tatty in places with some loose trim but remains perfectly usable, or would benefit from a reupholster. Minor marks and a small tear to the rear seam. Walnut frame with warm patina and light scuffs consistent with age and use. The ceramic castors are of differing colours, typical of period replacements.
