Description

Gents 1950s Gruen Veri-Thin wrist watch.
The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 415, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Gruen name, and it also has the US import code GXC.
The watch measures 26mm wide excluding the winding crown, and 26mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 10ct gold filled, with a base metal back which is signed with the Gruen name. The case is in very nice condition, as is the lens.
The textured dial is in its original finish with original dagger hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. There is a shade of darkening but still very easy to read the time.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
