Description

Technical Description
An exceptional mid 19th century Sunflower Oil glass condiment bottle dating to c1860.
It has a sunflower cut stopper which sits in a neck with a poring section to the front. Clear applied handle to the rear. The main body has engraved sunflowers within scrolls with an engraved Pheasant above.
An exceptionally rare example and the first we have seen or had.

England, c1860
Condition
It has a small stress crack at the top of the handle which is 100% stable and probably been there since manufacture. No chips or restoration. Clear and clear.
