Description

A lovely handbag or chatelaine hand mirror with a silver body. This attractive example has a back of beautiful lilac guilloche enamel, with an delightful contrasting band of white enamel to the outside. The bevelled mirror is original and to the handle is a fixing ring, most likely for a chatelaine. A lovely, usable piece from the ever popular Art Deco period. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no dents or splits to the silver, the mirror has a couple of areas of foxing to the outer edge, commensurate with age. The enamel is in perfect condition.
