Description

A delightful and very rare silver posy holder. These lovely items were often used for weddings or other occasions and were filled with small flower posies and held in the hands attached by ribbons. Often used as a gift for the Chief Bridesmaid or Matron of Honour, this could be used on the day and then kept as a memento. A wonderful gift idea or collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits.There is a small dimple to the base knop, commensurate with age and use.
Hallmarks :- Softening but readable.

Length :- 13.5 cms.
Diameter :- 4 cms. (widest point).
