Sunderland Bridge rummer. The bucket bowl depicting a view of the bridge with a ship sailing beneath, inscribed Sunderland Bridge. The reverse with a rectangular and floral cartouche with intials RT surmount by a basket of fruit English c1830. Ex. Dr Donald Butress Collection. Ht. 13cm. Rim dia: 8.9 cm. Foot dia: 6.9 cm. Weight: 264 grams. Condition: Very good. Note: The Sunderland Bridge (actually the Wearmouth Bridge) is a famous iron bridge over the river Wear opened in 1796.
