Description:
A smart and well-presented antique Scottish silver-plated fish cutlery set by Alexander Scott of Glasgow. The knives and forks have a clean, understated design typical of the period, with gently tapering handles and a comfortable weight in the hand.
The set is housed in its original wooden presentation case, lined in blue velvet, with the original retailer’s plaque and working key. This is a complete and cohesive set, ideal for display, traditional dining, or use as a period table accessory.
Condition:
The cutlery is in good vintage condition overall, showing light surface wear and fine scratches consistent with age and normal use. No bent or damaged pieces noted. The case shows expected age-related wear to the exterior and interior lining, consistent with an original antique box. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the description.
