Description

A 19th century bone teetotal with six sides and coloured numbers 1-6. It has a spinner and a decorative red and blue  top.
The teetotal measures 5cm l.
And a vegetable ivorine teetotum with the letters H N T and P. this was for a game of chance T is take all, H take half of the stake, N is nothing and P is put down a stake usually equal to what they originally put down.
Many teetotums were made by napoleonic prisoners of war. They were used as dice but also as a game in its own right.
